1. Information we collect

We collect two broad categories.

• Account information — when you register, subscribe or contact us: your name, business name, email, phone number and billing details. Card data is handled by our payment processor and is never stored by us.
• Business intelligence data — information about Australian businesses compiled from public and licensed sources, including the Australian Business Register, ASIC registers, government contract records and business websites. Some of this includes business contact information relating to individuals acting in a business capacity.

2. How we collect it

Account information comes directly from you. Business intelligence data comes from public sources, government registers and licensed providers, and is cross referenced before it appears in the platform.

3. How we use information

• To provide, operate and improve the Rafter Leads platform and your account.
• To process subscriptions and payments.
• To provide business intelligence and prospecting data to subscribers.
• To communicate with you about your account, support requests and service updates.
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

4. Disclosure

We do not sell your personal account information. We share information with service providers who help us operate, for example payment processing, hosting and email delivery, and they are bound to protect it. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

5. Business contact data and your rights

If you are an individual whose business contact information appears in our platform and you would like to access, correct or remove it, email info@rafterleads.com. We action reasonable requests promptly in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

6. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control non essential cookies through the banner shown on your first visit and through your browser settings. Essential cookies cannot be switched off.

7. Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including secure hosting, access controls and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we review our practices regularly.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, or as the law requires, after which it is deleted or de identified.

9. Access, correction and complaints

Request access to or correction of your personal information by emailing info@rafterleads.com. If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles you can complain to us, and if it remains unresolved, to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy. The current version always lives on this page with the date above.
